I’ve lost weight. My body shape’s totally changed.

 I think I was probably fed up of being overweight, unfit, there was nothing out there, it’s like, I’ve never really particularly dieted, but I wanted somebody to sort of guide me what you’re supposed to eat, because I’m not a believer in diets, because you’re, and I think I just got to a low ebb generally in my mental health and physical being.

So I ventured for some strange reason, which I don’t regret now. But I contacted you and then I came and I remember my first impression. I just thought I’m really impressed, you know, that you have so much knowledge about a physical body. Don’t know, even now when I did certain things like lifting and stuff, how you commented it and even doing a press up and that really impressed me.

I thought this is really different. This isn’t about like go and do 20 press ups, blah, blah, blah. It’s about. Getting things right and that really impressed me so when I signed up I was really nervous because in the past I’ve been to like gyms and they’re just so daunting because they’re all full of people who just pose or they’re all lifting weights, they’re all bulky but they don’t cater for people my age of like menopause, overweight, low self esteem or anything like that.

So I came to the first class. And instantly I thought, wow, this is so different and I just thought, yeah, I’ve made the right decision in the first class.

Wow. First of all, my mental health is just, I wake up in the morning, I’ve got tons of energy, I’m awake before my alarm. Never ever been known in my whole life ever. And I just feel like at this get up and go about my, I’m eating loads better because I’ve got guidance on what I should be eating. Do you know, like my changing body shape and everything and energy levels.

Um, I’ve lost weight. My body shape’s totally changed. I just feel so strong. Going back to having asthma, I can see, um, how my fitness levels have gone through the roof compared to what they were. And the variation, like you come and you never know what you’re going to do. And it’s so varied, and I’ve done loads of things I’ve never ever done in my life before.

And I can see myself. You don’t realise how far you’ve come. And then every now and then you think, I flippin heck, I can do that. I would never have thought I would be able to do that or lift that. I just feel my mental health has just changed so much. I feel really happy. I feel like I’ve got a goal in my personal life.

And it’s taken over my whole life. And like, I’ve got grandchildren. And I’ve got more energy to run around after those, and it’s just a nice feeling. And now I’ve started to get comments about my shirt. You know, ooh, you’ve looked really well, you’ve lost weight, so that makes you feel better. I’ve recently been on holiday, and it was really nice to have my clothes on.

And that loads of clothes were too big. And my partner said, that does nothing for your dog. And it’s a really nice feeling, you know, thinking, well, yeah. Because when I was younger, I was more active. I never was a particularly fat person. Up until leading up to the menopause and It’s just when piled away I’ve got speeches which I’ve never ever had in my life before and I need to feel really crap about yourself and all those emotions and things so, yeah, really good about myself.

100 percent it’s the best thing I ever did. It’s not just about losing weight, it’s not just about getting fit, it’s the whole aspects of your life.
